Not to toot our own horns, but we have been talking about the great neighborhood of NoMad for quite sometime, just take a look at our previous posts! It’s great for us to see that almost every major publication seems to be catching on, and with the NoMad Hotel opening its doors, NoMadness is at a fever pitch!

Just today the New York Times has a great article outlining the area we know as Flatiron, and they made a point to mention and explain the NoMad neighborhood (North of Madison Park).  What we know as Flatiron is a huge area from 23rd street running down to almost Union Square — NoMad is the neighborhood that falls in between Flatiron and MidTown. The article is absolutely worth a read as it has some fantastic destinations around NoMad and the Flatiron Districts, and is a great profile of the neighborhood.

The NoMad Hotel stories keep flooding our inboxes as well, most have to do with their fabulous restaurant, but another story that is getting picked up in recent days is the Maison Kitsuné boutique opening up in the NoMad. AltSounds has a great story on the boutique explaining that this store goes far beyond an apparel brand, it encompasses fashion, music, design and lifestyle. AltSounds are calling “a unique retail experience in a forward-thinking and lively space, providing a cultural cornerstone in one of the city’s most dynamic creative hubs.”

This is what NoMadness is all about, sure there are great businesses opening, with great restaurants and hotels, but what everything has in common is creativity. The NoMad neighborhood is setup to be one of the most creative and inspiring neighborhoods in the city, and we can’t wait to continue to be inspired!
