10 Madison Square Heating Up in NoMad

The condominium project over at 10 Madison Square West is almost 60% occupied, as space inside the high-end property is getting scarce. The Real Deal is reporting that over half of the 125 units in the Witkoff Group’s new project are now in contract.

“If you get lucky, a market makes you look smarter than you are,” developer Steven Witkoff told the Wall Street Journal.

It was reported that Witkoff paid $191 million in 2011 for the 16-story property, which was at that time the very beginnings of what we now know as the NoMad neighborhood. When the property was purchased they were intending to sell units for $1,800 per square foot, and now today, the units are averaging $2,800 per square foot.
