The NoMad Hotel Is Opening in March
The NoMad Hotel is officially opening in March 2012! It has been a NoMad destination that we have been touting for quite some time and we are very excited for it’s arrival. Eleven Madison Park explains the launch in their most recent newsletter, stating:
Our newest endeavor, the NoMad, is scheduled to open in March 2012 in New York’s newest up-and-coming neighborhood. Located on Broadway and 28th Street, the NoMad has 168 guest rooms and six unique dining spaces, including a sun-filled atrium, library lounge, and a rooftop cupola boasting views of New York’s historic skyline. The progress of construction astounds us every day, from the gleaming white subway tiles in the kitchen to the recent installation of the reclaimed hardwood floors. Chef Daniel and chef de cuisine, Abram Bissell, are busy testing recipes while Will and general manager, Jeff Tascarella, are focusing on training the dining room team. Our hope is to create an experience that is rooted in the flavors and values of Eleven Madison Park but that embraces the young, vibrant spirit of this budding neighborhood.
The hotel is one of the most anticipated hotel openings in the city, and we are delighted to see it opening in our neighborhood of NoMad. The restaurant at the NoMad Hotel is sure to be amazing, with the likes of Chef Daniel and Abram Bissell at the helm. Could this be another reason for the Madison Square Park neighborhood’s rebirth, we think so! Make sure you keep checking StreetBeat for more information leading up to the launch in March!
