Pergola Restaurant Now Open in NoMad
Diners in the NoMad Neighborhood have something to rejoice over: Pergola Restaurant! Pergola, a Mediterranean lounge that specializes in Greek, Turkish and Middle-eastern cuisines, opened this week at 36 West 28th Street.
The menu, designed by Executive Chef Nestor Moina of Remi Restaurant and Nerai, offers a modern take on staples of the Mediterranean diet: hummus, stuffed grape leaves, shawarma plates, lamb and chicken phyllo cigars, a lamb burger and falafel crusted wild salmon. For dessert, we recommend the loukoumades.
The extensive drink menu was created by mixologist Scott Fitzgerald of the Mulberry Project and includes signature cocktails such as the Spearmint 75 and Jalisco Rose.
Housed in a 3,700 square-foot former flower shop, Pergola serves patrons in a festive atmosphere. The restaurant features a multi-level dining room complete with exposed brick, dark wood and beautiful greenery. The restaurant and lounge also offers 12 different flavors of hookah, as well as live music every night.
With food, drinks, hookah and music, Pergola is perfect for a fun night out. Call (212) 679-4842 for reservations and stop by the NoMad District to check out another great addition to the neighborhood!
