Leslie Spira Lopez
President and CEO
Leslie Spira Lopez, a principal of Kew Management Corporation, has been President and CEO of the Company since January 2001. She has 21 years of management experience, including 16 years within the real estate industry. She joined Kew Management in 1987 as the Vice President of Leasing and Marketing and became President of the New York Division for the predecessor company in 1995. Prior to Kew Management, Leslie was Director of Software Development for Source Telecomputing (a division of Reader’s Digest Corporation), a pioneer of the online services industry.
She sits on the board of the Madison Square Park Conservancy.
Leslie received her MBA from Columbia University, with a focus on Management, and her BA in Mathematics from the University of Rochester.
Seymour Spira
Chairman and CEO-emeritus
Seymour Spira, a principal of Kew Management Corporation, is Chairman and CEO-emeritus of the Company. Before retiring from active management of Kew Management in 2000, Seymour spent nearly 40 years building the business. The Company expanded under his leadership, growing from 2 loft buildings to over 1.2 million square feet in 31 buildings spanning 4 states at the time of his retirement. Prior to Kew Management, Seymour worked as a mechanical engineer in the aerospace industry.
Seymour received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University.
Daniel Di Tieri
Vice President, Finance
From 1998 to 2009, Daniel Di Tieri, Kew’s Vice President, Finance was Director, Real Estate and Hospitality Services Practice at BDO Seldman, LLP. There he was responsible for acquisition due diligence, transaction structuring, accounting, auditing and taxation. Before joining BDO, Daniel was Senior Manager at Schonbraun, Safris, Sternlieb, LLP and Vice President of Finance at Rentar Development Corporation. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, The New York Society of Certified Public Accountants and The Real Estate Board of New York.
Daniel received his BA in Business Administration from Hofstra University.
David Taylor
Vice President, Operations
David Taylor was Vice President, Finance and Operations for Orda Management Corporation prior to his appointment as Vice President, Operations at Kew. Overseeing the management and daily operations of Orda’s commercial buildings, he streamlined procedures and increased efficiency in every aspect of the properties’ operations. David is a member of the Commercial Management Council of The Real Estate Board of New York. He is a board member of the Washington Heights Business Improvement District.
David received his MBA from State University of New York at Albany and his BA in Economics from New College of Florida.
