Mad. Sq. Conservancy
Mad. Sq. Art is the free contemporary public art program of the Madison Square Park Conservancy, presenting four exhibitions of newly commissioned work each year in a wide variety of media, by artists ranging from emerging to internationally renowned.
Mad. Sq. Kids is the Conservancy’s free program for children that includes our Mad. Sq. Kids Summer Concert Series, Art in the Park, Kids Fest and Mad. Sq. Kids EXPLORE! Mad. Sq. Kids Concerts are held in the summer months on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:30 am.
Mad. Sq. Music is the Conservancy’s outdoor concert series and one of the best ways to enjoy free world class performances in New York City. The Oval Lawn Series runs on Wednesday evenings throughout the summer and presents nationally touring acts. The Studio Series is devoted to folk, blues and Americana and pairs established and upcoming artists each fall during our intimate Saturday afternoon shows.
Mad. Sq. Reads is the free literary program of the Madison Square Park Conservancy. Held on the steps of Augustus Saint-Gaudens’ Farragut Monument on Thursday evenings in the month of July, the series features discussions with prominent authors on a variety of topics of current interest to New Yorkers.
Mad. Sq. Eats brings together the diverse tastes of some of the city’s best restaurants and bakeries for outdoor dining in the heart of the NoMad/Flatiron district. It is opened in October each year from 11am to 9pm.
