The NoMad and Hong Kong’s The Yardbird Collaborate

The NoMad restaurant has begun serving snacks by popular Hong Kong eatery The Yardbird. After a chance meeting with Yardbird’s owner Matt Abergel, The NoMad’s Daniel Humm and Will Guidara decided they had to introduce his cuisine to New York.
Guidara told Eater NY that “when we were in Hong Kong we were there for two weeks, and literally the first night we ran into Matt with his mom and sister on the street, prompting us to visit Yardbird the next day. It was one of the best meals we’d had in a long time, and we got to know Matt a bit after drinking a few beers together.”
Right now, the snacks include Korean fried cauliflower and the upcoming addition of Abergel’s take on the Scotch egg. These and more Yardbird specials will run through the end of the year.View all Headlines
