The Bib Gourmand winners were named today! For those of you that don’t know what a Bib Gourmand rating means, well it means that the particular restaurants listed are Michelin favorites for excellent value. For $40 or less, you can enjoy two courses and a glass of wine or dessert (not including tax and gratuity). So for an everyday New Yorker, Bib Gourmand restaurants represent the best hidden culinary value that the city has to offer, and our neighborhood of NoMad had no shortage of great places listed!

The announcement comes as a prelude to official “Michelin Guide New York City 2012,” which is slated to come out on October 5th. The winners and losers in the U.K. and Ireland are to be published the following day.

Below we have listed the restaurants in NoMad were chosen, so you can enjoy some killer meals on a budget!
