According to brokerage Savills Hospitality, NoMad’s MAve Hotel has been sold. NREI Online is reporting that Livorno Properties sold the MAve Hotel for $28.5 Million. The 12-story hotel, located at 62 Madison Ave (on the northwest corner of 27th street), features 72 rooms and includes two penthouses, roof access and a fitness center.

Our neighborhood has arguably the widest array of hotels in the city, from elegant hotels such as the Giraffe and NoMad Hotels to exciting ones like the Ace and Gansevoort Park Hotels. Even those looking for economy hotels have lots of choices, such as the Gershwin and Wyndam Hotels.

We will soon play host to even more NYC tourists as The Virgin Hotel is just one of the high profile new hotel projects planned in the neighborhood. It will be interesting to track the future of the MAve hotel over the next year, given this aggressive hotel market.
