Real Estate Weekly is reporting that Lam Group CEO, John Lam, has announced that they are talking with a number of hotel companies, including Starwood about installing  a four or five star big-name brand hotel in NoMad. Located on Broadway between 29th and 30th Street, this 300,000 s/f tower will provide luxurious accommodations in the neighborhood. This NoMad property will be among a dozen or so hotels that the Lam Group owns in New York City.

This new hotel will join the Ace Hotel, which opened in 2009, and last year’s Gasnevoort as lodging and social destinations for tourists and New Yorkers alike. With the NoMad Hotel and Tommy Hillfiger’s proposed hotel in the clock tower also in the neighborhood, Madison Square Park is establishing itself as a top location for city lodging.
