Leo Villareal's Buckyball installation in Madison Square Park has been extended an extra two weeks. The art installation was set to end on February 1st but will now be viewable through February 15th.
This popular installation pays tribute to Buckminster Fuller and seeks to combine geometrical and mathematic concepts within the sculpture. West coast fans of Villareal can rejoice because he is currently in the testing phase of The Bay Lights project on the San Francisco Bay Bridge.
We can't wait to see pictures of Leo Villareal lighting up the Bay Bridge like he did for Madison Square Park!
