40-story Condo Coming to NoMad
Wednesday January 22, 2014
Kushner Real Estate Group has announced plans to build a 40-story condominium tower on the northwestern edge of the NoMad District.
The tower is being built on the corner of Fifth Avenue and 30th Street and will be a massive 135,000 square feet building. The three currently standing buildings on the corner will be torn down in order to make way for the project. While these soon to be demolished buildings are only three stories tall, the property is zoned for taller structures.
The project was announced by Kushner Real Estate president John Kushner during a speech at a luncheon for the Young Men’s/Women’s Real Estate Association of New York. Kushner also shared that the new condo tower will be designed HWKN (Hollwich/Kushner), an architectural firm co-founded by his brother Marc Kushner.
NoMad has been quite the hotspot for new real estate developments in recent months. We’re interested to see how these residential properties turn out.View all Headlines
